We have received a complaint from a resident that at 7.45am people were in the western pool.
We understand that visitors from northern countries who have arrived in Spain to discover we are in a heatwave are tempted to have a refreshing swim, but this urbanisation has established rules that the pool is open only from 9am to 9pm. The reason for this rule is that the pool is adjacent to people’s homes and the convenience of residents must be considered just as much, if not arguably more-so, than visitors, after all it is the owners who are paying through their fees for the upkeep of the pool.
We have therefore welcomed an offer from a house owner who has volunteered to padlock the western pool at 9pm each night and re-open it at 9am daily.
What we are concerned about is if people can disobey the rules in this way, there will be increased problems during the school holiday period and residents will be seriously disturbed.
