I have received a complaint from an owner that the pool rules are not being properly observed.
The complaint ranges from people using the eastern pool until midnight, making excessive noise causing disturbance to nearby residents and the proliferation of inflatables in the pool. All this is clearly against urbanisation rules which are clearly displayed on notice boards.
It seems I have to remind visitors that our urbanisation is not a holiday camp and there are owners who are far from well and cannot tolerate noise at all hours of the day and night.
In previous years we employed a person to try to police the pools, with very limited success – the result was a lot of money being spent. On advice I have made it clear that owners suffering anti-social behaviour should ask the perpetrators to stop, and if they fail to do so, then they should call police – not just to threaten to do so.
