Cat neutering and spaying programme continues

Our cat neutering and spaying programme of feral cats is continuing. Here is the latest “victim” a fully-grown and extremely strong male, caught in the cat trap.

His strength took the vets by surprise – the  cat was so strong he managed to open the trap door and had to be restrained. He had to have a double dose of knock-out injection to sedate him so the procedure could be undertaken.

We returned him to the urbanisation and he was more than happy to make his getaway.

The object of this programme is to control numbers of feral cats and to prevent new litters being born every few months as was the case  in the past.
