This week we had our sewerage system inspected, cleaned and fumigated, under our contractual agreement.
They report a considerable improvement in the cleanliness of the sewers now, compared with two years ago, before I agreed to works to rectify construction defaults.
The quantity of cockroaches is now much reduced – particularly in internal sewers, but there are still more in the sewers in the ravine road. These have been dealt with, but of course others can return.
I am going to ask Maria, our administrator, to talk to our neighbouring communities so we all deal with fumigation at the same time, which will stop one urbanisation infesting another in future.
