Proposal to merge Housing and Garage Communities

At a recent urbanisation committee meeting members considered the possibility of a merger between the housing and garage communities. One community making decisions had appeal, but members concluded it would be an almost impossible dream.

That’s because there have been two communities for so long that it has become a fait accompli and to change it would mean a 100% vote in favour by every house owner and every garage owner.

Keeping our Urbanisation tidy

It is our aim to make our urbanisation tidier and more visually appealing, and to this end, following approval at the AGM, a painting programme for all urbanisation water and electricity boxes has begun and two new litter bins have been purchased and will shortly be provided close to the urbanisation letter boxes and at the western end of the urbanisation. Please use the bins rather than throw advertising material, etc, onto the ground.

Parking rules on the Urbanisation

Following problems resulting from an owner arriving on the urbanisation and parking a large truck, car transporter and a motor cycle on an interior road, it was decided to ask the 2018 AGM to amend rules to prohibit the parking of trailers, etc. on interior roads where parking is limited. It was also agreed to seek AGM approval to change rules so that owners who live on the ravine road, most of whom have driveways and/or garages not to park on interior roads except for loading and unloading.
