The Spanish Consumers’ Association (OCU) has confirmed that from 1st January 2022 electrical products will come with a three year manufacturer’s warranty instead of two years. Manufacturers will also have to guarantee the availability of spare parts for ten years rather than five years previously.

The changes have been implemented by the General Consumers & Users Defence Law for the purpose of sustainability and repairability. More detail can found on the ThinkSpain website.
