I have had complaints today that our maintenance company were doing hedge cutting around the western pool.

Doing noisy work on a Sunday is not acceptable – whether it is our maintenance company or any owner, unless it is an emergency.

I complained to Gabor who insisted that this hedge cutting work was scheduled to be done during the next week, not Sunday. He promised to discuss this with his workers.

I will support any owner who is inconvenienced by noisy work being carried out on a Sunday. We all need one day of quietness a week and in Spain we should also observe local custom and keep our noisy activities to an absolute minimum during Siesta time – 2pm to 4pm.
