Following the identification of a new variant to the COVID-19 virus international travel to Spain has been further restricted because of domestic regulations.
Spain have announced they will be restricting passenger travel from the UK until 19 January 2021 with the exception of Spanish nationals and legal residents.
This is in addition to all travellers requiring a negative test taken within no more than 72 hours.
Travellers will also still need to adhere to the UK travel guidance according to Tier restrictions in the relevant part of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
Further detail is available on the UK Government website Foreign travel advice for Spain.
