A meeting between the Administrators/Lawyers of both communities has reviewed the issue of legal boundaries and it was agreed that maintenance of the external surfaces of the garage perimeter walls was the joint responsibility of both communities on the basis of the Escritura quotients 78%-22%.
It was also agreed that the integral nature of the structural matrix of reinforced concrete columns / beams and foundations means that in Structural Engineering design terms this has to be considered as one entity. On that basis and in compliance with Horizontal Property Law there are responsibilities to be considered between the owners of the 16 properties above the garages and the garage community. This has been formally agreed and sanctioned at the 2016 garage community AGM.
