Following intervention by our administration the local council has agreed to an additional rubbish bin at the edge of our urbanisation.

It has been added to the bin outside of the Allioth.

In general we have more bins on our road then any other area according to the council.

Sadly we cannot have the larger grey bins because they cannot be easily moved. We have to have the portable bins so they can be moved for the Saturday market.

We had hoped the new bin would be further down the road – but  the one sited near the Allioth is better than nothing and may stop some build up of rubbish outside bins which looks an eyesore.

Sadly, because our road is regularly cleaned each week we have much fly tipping. Commercial vehicles are regularly offloading, especially garden rubbish. We will be asking if the police can pay particular attention to this.
