The Orihuela Costa Christmas parade, which started from the end of our urbanisation, down Nicholas de Bussi and on to The Boulevard, on Friday evening, was a spectacle. There were pixies, elves, two Christmas princesses in bubbles and of course Santa and his helper drawn by reindeer in a sleigh full of pressies. The Spanish really do know how to put on a parade. Perhaps our British towns could learn a thing or two.
