At our AGM this week there were complaints about the debris which falls into people’s gardens from neighbouring palm trees.
Some are now shedding seeds which contain black oil which makes a mess on patios. In the spring, flower growth gets everywhere, blown in the wind and some gets into the pools, which can clog filters and pumps.
Small palm trees might have looked good a decade ago, but have now grown the height of the houses and are well past their sell-by date.
Would owners please consider the future of palms you have in your gardens, whether they are causing a nuisance to neighbours and if so take appropriate action.
