Work is now complete on renewing the northern walkway and steps at the eastern end. This work was necessary after it was discovered that water was getting into the garage immediately below.

In addition, following a complaint about a “pool of darkness” around the steps from the pool area to the garage entrance below, all ivy has been removed from the railings which have been cleaned and repainted. Railings covered with ivy did not comply with health and safety requirements.
