Repair work is to take place within the next fortnight on the northern walkway above the garage block.
This will involve exposure of the membrane under the eastern end of the walkway and the steps and replacing where necessary, laying correctly to ensure no water penetrates the garage below.
Tiling will be done to ensure rainwater run-off is correct. The work will carry a three-year guarantee.
The committee, at its February meeting, will be considering the appointment of a surveyor/architect to visually inspect the garages and support structures, patios and walkways above in accordance with the agreement between the housing and garage communities.
