Hi Everyone,

It is with regret that I have to advise that the Western Pool will be closed for approximately 10 days for repair works.

We have once again tiles lifting off the pool floor and we have endeavoured to get the repairs done without emptying the pool by a specialist company.

Unfortunately the grout on some of the tiles is in poor condition. Therefore we have no alternative but to empty the pool, clean the poor quality grout out and retile the damaged areas.

Due to the cost involved we are attempting to do most of the cleaning ourselves.

We are therefore asking for any able bodied volunteers to come forward to assist with the work.

The pool is due to be drained today.
