WEST POOL

Update 23/12/2016 : Work is continuing on the western pool. Re-grouting is in progress and reinforcing poles have been cemented in to hold the hedging which needed additional support.

After Christmas a new shower pillar will be built protecting the pipework. This follows damage done to the pole by youngsters swinging on it to jump into the pool and a request from the AGM for something more substantial to be built there.

EAST POOL

Grouting within the east pool failed and has had to be completely replaced to avoid the worsening
situation of having to replace tiles. It was necessary to complete this work or the pool would have
had to be closed over the summer months. The cost was 1580 €.

There are some loose tiles around the east pool and these will be repaired.
